Grab your sketchbook and get started on a botanical journey! Join Nina Veteto—long-time forager, explorer, plant lover & art maker—for a fun and empowering class for anyone who has a love for plants and a desire to capture their beauty through drawing. Nina will teach you about basic plant structure and terminology as well as how to capture plants in your journal. This class is perfect for the absolute botany beginner and anyone who fears the blank page.
Materials: Sketchbook and drawing pens. Please also bring a variety of coloring materials in a variety of colors—markers, neocolor crayons, colored pencils, watercolor pencils—whatever fun stuff you have on hand.
All ages and levels welcome!

Nina Veteto is a long-time forager, explorer, plant lover & art maker living in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains of NC. She’s also the owner and shop keeper at Blue Ridge Botanic. Nina aims to create beautiful things that help people connect to the natural world in deeper more meaningful ways.
